Condition: Very good condition
Remarks: These are now rare items.   After much research, it was only possible to find a similar but smaller bust being sold at an auction some time ago.   From what we understand, there were many of these created and probably displayed on mantle pieces throughout Germany in the early years of the Third Reich.   This appears to be modelled on Adolf Hitler in the years of the Brown Shirts in the mid 1930s.   As we all know the victors get to write the history ('his story') books.   Adolf Hitler was painted as a veritable demon.   Those many busts were subsequently melted down and few appear to remain today.
There are no marks to identify the creator of this casting.   It is Likely this may be a post war reproduction.   That said, however, this bronze bust is still a lovely item and will inevitably be a talking point in anyone's home.
Dimensions: 25cm tall x 19.5cm at shoulders and 10cm deep.   It is a heavy item, weighing just over 3Kg, so you won't want to drop it on your toes.
Please see the photographs as these form part of the description.
